New Follower and Back to Work

YEAH....I have another Follower....Welcome!  I get soo excited when I see a new number in "Followers"!

Well I am back from vacation and back to my desk which is piled high with issues!  Fun Fun!

Vacation was good and much needed.  I really hated to come back as the heat and humidity has returned to South Florida and I think Winter is over.

I am off to work thru the pile on my desk.....

Vacation Starts

Why is it that I can not be like every other person in America and relishes in the idea that they are going on vacation in two days.  For me it is a nightmarish situation and I hate the days leading up to the actual vacation.  Today is a horrible day and it is only going to get worse as I am trying to cram everything I need to get done into today and tomorrow.  I wish, just once, I could leave to go on vacation and not have this empty feeling in my stomach like everything will come unglued while I am away!  It freaks me out!  And to top it off, it is raining in sunny South Florida today....I hate driving with the other idiots when it is raining.

Yeah...I am being read!!!!!!  Thanks for daninokc for reading or at least looking at my blog the most...according to the stats page.  I sincerely did not even know that existed until a few mins ago.....I always saw that tab but never clicked it.  Very interesting to say the least.  Anyway...cool.....people know I am out there!

My Blogs are Boring

Someone was/is reading my blog and someone left a comment!!!! YEAH ME!  And it even made me laugh.  I find my blog to be boring and I need to find a direction for it.  I used to blog all the time on Live Journal.  I tend to like to lurk on here looking at other guys blogs....they are far more interesting. So I think I should find a topic to write about and stick to that type of theme.   So lets see what I come up with!

In other news, I am going to get my haircut tomorrow by a guy that I think is amazingly hot in a very strange sort of way.  He is not even remotely my type and I have nothing in common with him but his demeanor is just plain HOT.  And the best part is that he gets to play with my hair for an hour.

Valentines Day

So today is Valentine's Day and to be honest I am kind of happy not to be in a relationship today.  We were having dinner with my brother and his family last night and his wife went on and on about what she expected from him today.  At one point, I said to him that he needed a week to get all of that done.  He just looked at me and said "she is dreaming".  I think given all the problems they have in there marriage...they need to concentrate on the big issues and not the trivial valentine's crap.  I have to say that people think I mask my problems but I ain't got nothing on them!!!  My brother has some really deep seeded sexual issues that he needs to address of it will haunt him for a long time to come.  It already does now.

Journey and Journies

I often listen to Pandora radio during the day at work.  One of the settings I have is for "80's" which usually puts a fair amount of "old school" songs in the mix.  Journey came on this morning with "Faithfully" and then a few minutes ago with "Separate Ways".   Wow...memories of high school and starting my freshman year of college come flooding back.  The songs themselves do not touch me with the words, it is more the music and what was being played at crucial points during that path.  "Separate Ways" was being played in the car when I was driving to graduation and I for some reason always remember that.  So I pause a little and a smile comes to my face.  I wish my high school experience had been more "normal" but I have come to realize over the years that "it is what it is!"

My nephew left for the basic training in Texas today.  He is going into the Coast Guard....I can remember when he was riding a tricycle and now he is about embark on his career....I am getting old.
